Target Audience and Objective: The Office of Women’s Health awarded a grant to a local non-profit organization to create an informative and age-specific health education program for young adolescents, specifically 11-13 year old girls. We were hired by the non-profit to design and implement the program.
Delivered: Event forum included expert presentations/activities, video, resource manual; Evaluation consisted of pre/post testing, analysis and final report.
Results: 100% of the teachers indicated they would bring their students to a similar forum again in the future. 84% of the participants said they would return to a similar forum again in the future. 89% of the participants stated they the elements of the forum were good or excellent.
